Курицын Сергей Павлович родился в 1962 году в городе Архангельске. Закончил художественную школу в г. Архангельске.
С 1985 года начал писать первые этюды маслом. С 1991 года постоянно занимается живописью маслом. Основное направление – это станковая живопись, темы его работ - пейзажи Русского Севера, натюрморты.
