Anatoli Panagonov was born in the town of Targovishte on 14. 09. 1966. and he is currently living in Varna. He has been painting since a very young age, but after he turned 25, he completely devoted his life on landscape painting ; strongly influenced by his Russian descent and the unique Russian School of Art, mainly following the technique of Polenov, Shishkin, Levitan. . Mastering this remarkable skill set, his paintbrush created an artwork that strongly expressed his extraordinary talent to reproduce the beauty of the Bulgarian nature. Without any academic bias, this naturally-gifted painter is recognized by a number of art galleries and collectors. After a number of personal and collective exhibitions, his paintings have been acquired by a large number of private art galleries in Bulgaria, as well as in private collections abroad.
